Having not been overly impressed with Stay before I thought I would give the newly refurbished restaurant another try when I was out last week with my 'best' friend and my daughter.I had emailed ahead of arriving as we wanted to be in prime posistion to watch the fireworks on Goleta beach at midnight.
We were not disappointed with the decor or the food. The restaurant is now very modern ..colour scheme of brown and red with decking on the floor and chrome furniture .We all had the set menu which at 30 euros per head including wine was excellent value. I had the most delicious gazpacho to start followed by a seafood ragout in a mild curry sauce (amazing :b )

The highlight of the evening was the fireworks...I have never seen such a spectacular display really amazing! At one point several rockets were set off together which then landed in the sea and appeared to go out. After about 5 seconds they emerged out of the sea like huge white 'jelly fish ' and began to move across the surface of the water :eek Did anyone else see this fantastic show?
