Default The Stay

Well I don't think there is any chance of it being open in May. It's still a concrete shell. In fact I was told yesterday that there is a possibility that the increased rates on the site means they may not open at all. (You hear a lot of different stories about things here though that contradict each other all the time, so we'll keep you posted.)

Any more news on whether Stay is anywhere near opening? I'm out for a birthday next week (big one!!!), but I'm guessing it's still pretty much a shell???

Afraid you'll be out of look for next week still a long time from opening.

It was still a concrete shell when I looked the other day. I think you'll have to try somewhere else this time.
My mother's maiden name was Slevin, any relation?

Their website now says:

"We hope to be able to start the demolition over Christmas or early in the New Year and then to commence the rebuilding with a view to opening again The first Week of June 2006."

so maybe you'll be in luck....

Also good for lunch but mainly for the location is Hostel Bahia..on Pine Walk. Fantastic view over bay and you can sit and people watch for hours!

Could we have an update on the progress of the refurbishment of Stay please. When we were last in PP in Mid March, it was just a building site,(in fact the whole of the Port seemed like one big building site!) although we did see Senor Joseph, who informed us he was hoping to open early summer.

Any possibility of it being ready by Mid July? Any feedback much appreciated.
