Default Siller restaurant

I have just been looking at Tripadvisor where this restaurant is the No 1 restaurant in Puerto Pollensa at the moment. I was surprised as on this forum the last mention I can find of it was in 2009 and was not terribly good. Has anyone been recently and can you recommend it?

Default Restaurant Siller

I cannot understand why this fabulous restaurant is never mentioned on the Forum. The food is absolutely fantastic, beautifully presented & the service is perfect. In my opinion it is the best restaurant in Puerto Pollensa.

If you type "Restaurant Siller" into the search facility at the top of this page there are a number of reviews about this restaurant, some from last year .
I think the reason it doesn't get a lot of reviews on here is because of it's location, it is not easy to find unless you know the area.

Directions can be found here http://www.forum.puertopollensa.com/...irections.html

Always been one of our favourites but as sparky said unless you were staying in the area of Siller it is not a place you would stumble across. All the food is freshly prepared to order so expect to have a long leisurely meal...no fast food in this lovely restaurant !

I've posted a couple of times over the last two years after visiting this excellent restaurant and it's most certainly on the list of places we will eat when we come out TOMORROW!!!!!!!!

The couple who own the restaurant (she the cook, he front of house) also have a smallholding from where a lot of the fresh produce is grown. In terms of qulaity of food it's right up there with Stay and worth a visit.....if you can find it.

The worst experience I have ever had to endure in a restaurant. Albeit a few years ago & most thing's deserve a second chance though it was that bad I swore never to return.

Default Siller

Used to be our favourite restaurant a few years back, but gave up going as they were getting far too expensive, and to be truthful i found the owners PR skills a bit debatable at times. But, it is a lovely restaurant and the food was always good, i never bought into the vegetables from my own garden claim, how could he work in 2 places at once

We managed to find it last year and thought it was the best place in PP. Will definitely be going back this year

We did indeed go back ten days ago and it was one of the very best meals we ate. Superb service, wonderful food, lovely interior to the restaurant.

We had tapas to share to start with, beef stroganoff, garlic prawns and chicken croquettes with rustic bread, olives, aioli and iberico ham. Various mains, the outstanding suckling pig, grilled prawns and fabulous lamb chops, french trimmed (very unusual). Absolutely delicious.

Once again we were delighted to have eaten there. Highly recommended.

DO try it if you haven't already.
