Hello essexboy,

the link is a good one but this may help a little,

when you enter the square you will see the church in front of you,if you walk upto the church ( its the big thing with bells onit!!!kidding)and walk down the left hand side of the church upto the next road junction (a couple of yards) turn left for about 100 yards and take your first right it is on that street , you might think where is he sending me but its worth it and it is only 2-3 mins from the church itself.

try the tumbet for starters two can share, he also does some great fish but on his specials menu there is a fish and seafood stew , its bloody amazing , you will enjoy the place , we went back 5times in two weeks and if i had my way i would have gone every night, also if you have children just ask for something and he will make it for you, my daughter had some fresh chicken with fresh veg and pots.

enjoy and let me know what you think

p.s he is closed on saturdays as we found out!!!!!

I was really interested to read the bit about him making Chicken for your child/children.

We went to El Posito last year but didn't go in. We had a look at the menu and was concerned that our daughter wouldn't eat anything. Is a fussy 11 year old but will eat chicken or pork!!

Might have a look at this again then this year.

However, we did end up going to O Lume instead - which was fab!

Default El Posito

Sara,

My daughter (now 15) will ONLY eat chicken and pepper sauce. I think Tony keeps a couple of chickens running around the back, just for her

Default Re: El Posito

Hi

I was also in El Posito a couple of times over the last 2 weeks ......... fantastic , persuaded my 17 year old nephew who is inexperienced when it comes to eating "foreign" food to try the Fritas Mallorquian ..... was he a convert .... couldn;t keep him away from "new tastes" after that one.

I can also personally recommend the Lamb with rosemary and honey and also the Cod El Posito ..... and just about everything else on the menu

My daughter has often just had a couple of Tapas sized dishes ...... in fact on one of our visits this year she had a portionof lasagne and then something else ( can;t remember what it was ........... basic message is that they are very accommodating
