Default Pine Walk

Staying at the Playa Mar top end of the pine walk in a couple of weeks. I'm OK with the 20-30min walk into town but most reviews say there are no bars or eateries virtually all the way. Could someone please tell me if this is accurate or are there a few watering holes along the way.

Default Pine walk

Woolford,

Not a great deal, first you would have the Hotel I'll Dor, a bit more expensive but fantastic views, then Bar Katy/Little Italy, right next to each other, a little bit further on once you reach the Coral/Laroc( Laroc very good). A bit further on you're then spoiled for choice.

It would only be 30 mins if you were taking a stroll, the walk itself is timeless, will seem more like 10 mins.

The Bonanza bar is nearer and gets good reviews, but i don't know if they only seve snacks.

Bonanca supermarket also great for your croisants and emsimadas in the morning

Also the new( ish) store formentor on Bellresguard has fresh bread cooking all day long and will do a lovely filled baguette for about 3 Euros for lunch

Morning coffee at the Illa D'Or shouldn't be missed

I promise you the walk won't feel loke a chore ...... it really is a pleasure and in my opinion the nicest walk in the world

Oh and to add to Smiddy's list ......... Hotel Bahia for a nightcap to break the journey is also a good bet

And if for any reason you don;t fancy the walk, it is only 5 Euros in a taxi

Default Pine Walk

Hi ............ Bar Bonanca (Bonanza) does meals as well as snacks. Not a huge menu but good. Excellent pool area if you fancy a change from Playa Mar. A jug of Sangria late afternoon at Bar Katy on the Pinewalk is a fine way to spend an hour or so. As the others have said, it's probably one of the nicest 15 -20 minute walks you could ask for, and there are a few watering holes to fend off dehydration.

Cheers, Mick
