Default Lamb chops at Ikebana

A bit off topic, so will probs get "booked" for it!

Sparky!

You ever tried the Kilo of lamb chops in Ikebana?

With your support team of course!

We haven't, just wondered.

Hi, I have had them a few times and they were superb. Been using this place for years and it always amazes me that it does not get more coverage. Husband and wife have been running it for over 20 years.

Hi Pollensafan.
We have had some fabulous meals courtesy of Jose and Ana and i have posted a few reviews. They work so hard and are always willing to cook something not on the menu if you give them enough notice. We attended their eldest daughters first communion party and spent part of San Antoni with the whole family in January. I can't think of a nicer setting for dinner (apart from a sea view) than the Ikebana garden.

Glad to read your comment pollensafan!

Of course if you don't want to be "a little lamb" you can be "a little piggy" and go for the pork chops by the kilo!

I haven't myself!

And yes it'd be good if a few more went there and tried it.And told us!

Sunday for the long lingering lunch when there are Spanish families there is good!

Sparky, you didn't have a go on the kiddies fire engine they used to have, did you?

Smile Ikebana

It's not just the lamb chops, (which are really good), it's the paella (watch the locals collecting their take-aways on Sunday), and the really fresh fish, and the steaks properly cooked etc. etc.

It's really good food properly cooked. Add to that the really pleasant service, and you have one of my real favourites in the Port.

Cheers!

Frito.

Going back to the kilo of lamb chops. I did watch a german couple sit and eat them one night, and yes they finished them.

For 7 years I have stayed within a couple of hundred yards of this restaurant and I have never tried it and I have no idea why not.

After reading about the lamb chops and Paella I will have to try it this year out on Friday for 2 weeks not sure I could eat a Kilo though

Timberman, everything really is good value for money. I am told that Jose trained at the old Ca Vostra restaurant and Ana is PP born and bred, she makes a lot of the desserts herself.
