Best for breakfast?
Hi all
Can anyone recommend places for great breakfast in the port? Cold meats and cheese, omelettes, even bacon and eggs........ Last time I remember finding one place early morning off calle formentor, great breakfast, coffee, juice and a brandy type thing on the house all for about 5 euros.

Breakfast in PP
I find Jokers is good value - but everwhere seems to be 10.30 start and we are all ready at 9.00.Last year we started cooking it ourselves with British food shop products and will again this year if nowhere can be found for an early start.

I my opinion the biggest, best and most value for money is the breakfast provided by "Pepes".

Seems you are right Stevo, found this when googeling:
For an excellent Full English Breakfast to start the day you can't find anywhere closer or better than "Bar Pepe" Edificio Rio, C/ Mendez Nunez, 23 , Puerto Pollensa - Tel 971 866 797
Just turn right as you exit the apartment block & you will find it some 15 metres down. Pepe serves an excellent Menu of the Day as well as A La Carte and his food is excellent & very good value.

Capri is quite nice as well, especially sitting out on the waterfront early in the morning. Very relaxing and not that dear.

The Flora apartments opposite Pepes do a good choice of breakfasts - continental with ham, salamis and cheeses, full english or majorcan. Open to non-residents. Prices are reasonable and I think they serve from about 8 am to 11 am.

I agree with Stevo & Tone. Pepe's is excellent for breakfast. Love the fresh OJ too!

I can vouch for the breakfast at the Golden Lion, they will give you whatever you want and they are open from 7am, never made it that early though .

I'd suggest Pines, if you walk up pine walk near little Italy it's just up the side street.
Really nice breakfast! We always pop in there at least once or twice each time we go

Thanks Sparky, whilst 7am used to be my getting home time it's now more a getting up time! I love to see the port and the beach as it is all waking up, before things get going. There is a special light from the early morning sun, a good breakfast and time to enjoy the day ahead..............makes the holiday seem longer as well! Golden lion added to the list.
