Tapas seems to be really taking off this year - funny how only a couple of years ago I remember saying that PP was really short of tapas restaurants... I guess it's a sign of the times as you don't have to spend a lot of money but can still feel you've had the 'eating out' experience.

We thought the same last time in Mallorca, tapas are a Spanish institution (or Basque or Catalan depending where you are). It's a great addition to the port to have so many places offering tapas, I prefer to think it's a traditional culinary development as opposed to a sign of the economy, but it's probably a combination of the two! Looking forward to testing them out

We have enjoyed some excellent meals in Manduca and they have stayed true to their word by opening throughout the winter months. Will be trying the tapas out soon .

Good they are opening new tapas bars. Hope they all stick to traditional properly prepared tapas and not the type you or i could buy in the supermarket.

Agreed Sparky, always a friendly welcome in there as well as good food, and also great for the port they stayed open all through the winter, we had some good meals in there in January. Which side is the new place? Another one to add to the list to try out next time.
