Default Short trip report

Decided to visit the Wine fair on the back on a decent offer from our favourite Hotel Cala San Vincente. Stupid of time flights from Stansted last Friday morning but arrived and got car from Goldcar and was was in CSV for 11:00!!

Wonderful weather for 5 days and went for the normal 1st night at Nicos after a couple at Bonys. Wifey loved the new Rosado cava and especially the flute glasses. Nicos as good as ever, nachos to start and then encilladas with bottle of Marcas de Castres, bill came to 39 Euros.

Saturday was leisurley walk around the port and quick lunch in Can Josep, Night in hotel as they laid in special Fira dinner.

Sunday, down to wine festival and after a few too many tastings back to hotel and down to Windsurf in CSV for dinner, see other post.

Monday spent around pool and then into port for dinner, Nostalga shut so after more Bonys went to El Castinet for pizza. Still think this is as good as you get in the port and 2 + bottle of good wine/water still only 43 Euros.

Tuesday bit overcast so of to Alcudia for a wander, back to CSV and around the pool until evening. More Bonys (you guessed it, people watching) until undecided where to go. After much debate decided on El Castinet again!!! Great atmosphere as Barca/Chelski game on.

Wife had tumblet, which she loved and I had fish ravioli. All washed down with a Torres de Casta/water. With the bread and olives dinner was 39 Euros.

All in all great short trip, weather great, love the port and CSV starting to wake up... Bit of a problem getting back with easyJet on Wednesday but that's another story... Can't wait until Sepetmber for another 2 weeks (too much going on the in UK this year for the annual June trip )
Sparky and lollipop like this.
