Default 50-something female going out alone

I'm a 50-something female going on holiday alone for the first time. I've been to Mallorca quite a few times but never stayed in P Pollensa before. Can anyone recommend places to go in the evening where I won't feel too self-conscious being alone? Bars with live music would be good.

Hi Flora Brava

Mulligans Bar (round the market square) has live music on a Friday night and it is not unusual to see women quite happily on their own in there.

Brisa Marina (along the sea front opposite the main car park) is a good restaurant to eat in if you are on your own. It is very friendly in there and had an excellent menu del dia in the evening (14 euros inc wine).

Have a lovely holiday

Default re 50 something female going out alone

I could definately recommend sitting on the terrace at the hostal bahia having lunch and drinks and watching theworld go by.Im a bit biased as we always stay there and love the place but have noticed people over the years who stay there alone and are certainly comfortable with it.They also do good evening meals. Im sure youll have a good time.

Couldn't agree more re. the Bahia to sit & have a drink and people watch. I'll be back there next week - looking forward to my breakfast on the terrace.
