It's a few years since I was in PP but I don't recall any nightclubs as such. I would imagine some of the bars around the square stay open late. They may be better off getting a taxi into Port Alcudia and back, though worth checking this out As it's a long walk back if taxis are not available in the early hours!

Edit; there you go, Sparky on the ball!

No need to go to Alcudia ...... That's the view of my 18 year old so it's not just the old foggie talking

Plenty going on around oharas and also do try the Bar Batacuda ..... IMO raffia makes the best G&T and Mojito in the port ...... Also has a darts board and pool table ......... Daughter and her friends recon they have a better night in there than they do in they do in Chivas ......

I suppose it depends on the expectations of the OP's sons. I agree that there is plenty going on in PP into early hours but it isnt night club, dance, hip hop, ragga, Pasha, ministry of sound type place by any stretch!

Edit; thank god.

Thank goodness for that

My three have been going since they were six and eight years old (now 30 and 32) and in their teenage years used to go to Alcudia for nights out occasionally. Best of both worlds as there are some great nightclubs/bars in Alcudia but only a taxi ride back to unspoilt PP.

Bar Batucada is next door to Retaurant Naciente (see directions here http://www.forum.puertopollensa.com/...irections.html) and Buddabar is in Temple Fielding opposite the carpark, turn up the road that runs beside The Torre Playa (Sail and Surf) .

Interested to hear about Buddha. We stayed near it last year and lots of the local people were really upset about it and were protesting to the local council. I thought it might not be operating in the same way - I have to say that it is a lovely bar but if you are trying to get to sleep it is a nightmare!
