This posted on FB today

The route of the Puerto Pollensa tapas competition. In every bar and Café will have these ballots to be able to give your opinion on tapas, service quality, sympathy, environment and local. That will not only serve for the weekly contest in the tapas route but also business participation can analyze your business with the intention of improving. All we need to improve in Pollensa this year if we are to survive the season and winter coming! A Yes? Then I encourage you! (Translated by Bing)

There is also a photo of the ballot sheet.

As PP.com is fully supporting this venture i think a link will be acceptable, hope you agree Zelda. Here it is:- https://www.facebook.com/#!/profile....00003497600839

I was about to post it myself . Unfortunately, they've set it up as a 'person' that you need to be 'friends' with as opposed to a 'page' that you can 'like' which protects your privacy. But the info on the wall is public anyway so that you can still view the posts anyway.

Have just received this message from the organiser of La Ruta :-

Just to keep you informed there has been a slight hiccup with Makassar who cannot make for the opening night due to problems they are having in the bar. They are being replaced by Pic Nic , Crta Formentor (used to be old arab restaurant Casa Blanca) for the first night and will be joining thereafter. Also joining for next route on 29 March is Can Tofel, Makassar and Hardleys. Hope that keeps you up to date. Un saludo.

One of the very minor drawbacks of the forum Whaley - over-information!
What happened to those days when you spent part of your hols 'rooting places out' and finding things out for yourselves to great delight??? Just a small thought.
Took me ages to find Los Zarzales for instance!

As i have previously posted, maps will be provided in all the participating bars and the tourist information office.
If you click on the listed bars in blue on the first page you will see them on our location map, i have now added addresses for the others.

Not sure if this is allowed (feel free to remove if it is Sparky), but this is the image from the facebook page that shows the location of the bars.

I don't think there is Gers, just go where and when you want. You couldn't have loads of people all piling into one bar at the same time .

Have just received this email from the organisers

Hi Lyn just to let you know......we have given you a big mention on the radio interview that we have just finished. We said that puertoPollensa.com have been helping us all the way through and that you have even offered to sponsor maps. That your forum has been recieving alot of chat regarding the route from as far as UK and that tourists have been contacting us through your forum and facebook to tell us how excited they are that the route will still be up and running in the summer, etc, etc. So we hope that makes you happy at PP.com!

Un saludo

Denise & Miguel
