Guys, although never having actually frequented boneys (OK, I hope to be persuaded otherwise!) it seems too crowded with the tables too close to each other, ala any other bar in mallorca. Surely Bar Cultural must be more admired.

I don't like Bonys either ..too bright and the tables crammed together in rows. I know I'm in the minority 'tho as its always busy .

Hola everyone=Regarding Bonys.
Firstly i agree with hoopy and debz. The tables were too close together like a bar in blackpool. But my wife and i gave it a try.We did a bit of shopping around six when shops opened. There was only us and a scottish couple sitting near by at Bonys. There was a spanish waitress serving.
She was in conversation with a spanish couple with a baby.NINE minutes later we gave up waiting ,even after me asking her twice to serve us and being ignored.
So we went across to Bar cultural and got served as soon as we sat down.

Debz, I wondered if you would speak up !!!!

Johnnybob, it just goes to show, no matter how well a bar is doing, they should never be complacent. We've always enjoyed Bonys, but have to admit we've never drank at Bar Cultural. Must give it a try sometime....:b
