Default Another change.

I have been told that the restaurant that was "La Villa" (Chinese) in C/ Vicenc Buades is to re-open as a tapas bar .
Rosie34 and car77 like this.

Thought the same CD, I think the move to Tapas is smart financialy for these times, and since the demise of Neptuno there is not enough authentic food on offer. Thanks for the info Sparky

Hi SWS

Got to agree Tapas Bars are a good thing all round "Variety" for all tastes budgets & appetites .

So has Neptuno closed again ? Or are you going back to original Neptuno ? Is/was the new one any good in comparison ?

They're only as good as the tapas they serve though.

If it's pre-made frozen stuff from some factory somewhere then no, if sourced locally and prepared on the premises then it stands a good chance IMO.

Default Real tapas

For everyone who used to love the tapas at the old Neptuno bar, the lovely lady cook who used to work there (Katy) is now cooking in Cafe 63.

Cafe 63 used to be called Bar Anubis and can be found just round the corner to the right after the Confort electrical shop. It's on the road which runs parallel to the inner by-pass road.

They are open every day, offer a small freebie tapas with every drink, have a 3 course menu del dia for 7 euros 50 and a good range of tapas.

Sadly, they don't have a display unit for the tapas but, having tasted some there, they are definitely as good as they were in the old Neptuno.
