Thumbs up Michelin star

Not quite Pollensa but good news for Mallorca as 2 restaurants have gained their first Michelin star.
'Es Fum' restaurant in Hotel St. Regis Mardavall in Palmanova & more locally 'Le Jardin' in Port D'Alcudia.
Congratultions to both, great recognition for the island of Mallorca & its fantastic food.

Congratulations indeed!

Le Jardin used to be one of our favourite restaurants for special occasions, but for most of this year their menu has been unusual to say the least. It has mostly been exotic seafood such as sea anenome, sea cucumber, eel etc. We like unusual food but it has been too extreme for us. Their last menu had some recognisable things on it and we would have tried it if we had been there.

Can't fault the service or ambience

Good to see Jardin gaining its first Michelin star this year.
