Default Lulu's

Enjoyed your reports - almost like being there And have added Lulus to my list of 'to try's' for next month. Is Lulus beside the church in PP or the old town?

Lulu's is in the Old town Rosie, well worth a visit
One of our favourite restaraunts in the Winter when most places are closed.

Really enjoyed reading these trip reports, such an entertaining writing style from the Mudsharks

Thanks Mark. Just thought - is it the church in the main square where the Sunday market is? (There are a couple of churches)

Yes Rosie, up the little alley to the right of the church on the main square. First place you come to. Don't think they open lunch times or Saturday's.

Have heard that the new owner is reopening in a few days. Lots of change recently in the old town & more to come!

I am told that it has been renamed "Harry's Bar".

Sparky is right it is called Harry's Bar ... named after the current owner's Grandfather (I believe).

I only stopped by for the odd cup of tea etc ... the chap is pleasant enough but needs to brush up a wee bit on his social skills ... I know that Lulu is a daunting act to follow ... with her being so friendly etc ... but Jesus ... the guy needs to learn how to smile ... cos as we all know ... a smile goes a long long way ... especially ... if you want and need the re-turn customers ... I am saying this in a hopefully productive way because I would hate to see someone fall before they have even started ... the place has great potential ... just please SMILE and interact with your customers ... that's what we want
