Default Old Town reaturants

Have not been back to Pollensa for 4 years now,we used to eat out every night in PP,but felt it was going a bit touristy for us ,so we have decided to eat out in the old town for a bit more calm, has anybody got any feedback on any old town places to eat.we looking for snack places and more formal dinning places as budget is not endless.

Hi sennared!

If you look back to some of the posts in the Eating and Drinking section you will find many reviews for restaurants in the old town.

In the square or by the Cavari steps are lots of cheap and cheerful, but very good, cafes. My favourite in the square is C'a Nolesa.

Another find of ours last summer was El Temple which is excellent for tapas and also some very different and original main courses. It has a very busy bar area and a quaint little courtyard at the back.Very popular with locals which is always a good sign!

If you want to push the boat out Restaurants Clivia , C'an Costa and El Cantonet are all excellent..and hopefully by the summer La Trencadora

You'll be spoilt for choice

The only restaurant I have eaten at in Old Pollensa is il Giardino by the main square but would recommend it

Yes Clivia and Can Costa are lovely and although not cheap, very special and compared to restaurants in the Uk, good value considering the quality of food.
Another id reccomend is La Fonda, its in the main square if you stand with your back to the church, its just off to the right a little way down a side street.
Dont give up on PP though! There are still plenty of authentic, unspoilt places to eat, many full of locals.
Have a lovely time!
