I have heard that a new bar is opening this Friday 26th and is where 'Gordys' (which closed after only a few months) opened last year on Virgen del Carmen, has anybody got anymore info?

Your information is correct Whaley, the bar has its opening on Thursday when people are invited for Cava etc. I think it is called something like En Cuentro. Lets see if it lasts any longer than Gordy's. Just seems a bit late in the season

Just to jog all of your memories when we originally came to PP 9 years ago and opened Ye Olde Tearooms in La Gola it was called the Tasty Takeaway with Fred (in his load chefs trousers) and June, they had been here for a long time, one of there daughters Tina used to waitress for us als was a writer for Island life when in one issue she wrote an article on Juanito, (gentleman who used to ride around on his bike with his berret on) and there other daughter Julie worked at Googlers (now where pines is situated), memories hey...

I was wondering if anyone knew what it was like at night...We will be staying opposite and wondered if it would affect us.
