Default Morning entertainment in La Goleta.

Well it certainly made my jaw drop. If youre in for a coffee around 9 am, look for an elderly spanish lady sitting in the corner. Her and here sister are there for seven weeks. Each morning she comes down, gulps down three glasses of pineapple juice, then fills a tumbler. She then takes up to ten slices of iberian ham, and covers it with a slice of cheese, sits at her table, wraps it, puts it in her shopping bag, and goes back to her room. On her return, she repeats the excersize. One morning I estimated sixteen slices of Iberian ham, every slice went in her bag, yesterday, she even took the baguettes off the adjoining table.

We are there in 3 weeks time Lostsoul, so looking forward to watching her breakfast antics, think I might have to get down first on a morning and hide the ham.

You need to be there about 0850 for a good seat. Even if the table is set for 4 with a reserved sign, she simply pulls the tables apart and moves the sign. She sits right in the corner where she thinks no one will notice. But if Martin is there (Mondaya) she isnt as bad. I counted 4 trips back to the room in 20 mins one morning. She even barged a woman away one morning for the last 8 slices, and shed already had the first 8.
