No Cecilboy
Normally there are members of this forum who live in PP and they would normally tell us , but I had to email Balixa to get the info.
But do enjoy it when you go to visit this place

Most restuants already advertise on this forum

I have never been - what is it like at lunchtime? Do you have to book for diiner? What is the menu like?

I think I saw somewhere that it has a pool you can use if you buy a drink?

Can any-one explain to a Balaixa virgin?

Thanks,

Lala

Default Balaxia

Excellent for lunch and evening meal but I recommend lunchtimes when you can have menu d'el dia for 15 euro incl. large glass of wine. After lunch relax around the pool.

Sun Props,

We went there for lunch twice last summer. Excellent value for money and wonderful to be able to relax by the pool for the afternoon after a lovely meal
(Always) recommended

Daytime great, but have you tried the new evening Menu??

I was lucky enough to bump into Marwell a few weeks ago in Balaixa, a regular hang out for both of us i will admit and had the chance to try the new menu! carpaccio of Salmon with home made Tartar sauce, to die for, the ribs as a starter were equally good. Now for a vegetarian the T Bone steak fed us for a week. Who would have thought about Rice Pudding in Mallorca, well Balaixa have but the twist is the Pear marinated in red wine in the middle..... yummmmmy.

A pleasant evening was had by all, in fact we went back a couple of times before we came home and can't wait to go back again in the summer.

We also had a great time in Piccalo Forno (in the Square opposite Ford garage in Pollensa) great value for the whole family and the house wine is every drinkable

Has anyone heard if Bistro Balaixa has opened for the season yet in CSV. they were hoping for mid May but the council had dug up the pavement in front of it. Bad timing on behalf of the council at the start of the season I would say.:lol

We also went here a couple of times last week.
The food as always was great I had the fillets of sea bass on slices of potatoe and pumpkin with little strips of veg on top and the the whole dish steamed, I had it for lunch and for an evening meal.
The best I have had in mallorca.
