Restuarants In Cala san Vincent

Hi Guys

We are going to Majorca next week and staying in Cala San Vincente. We plan to eat/bbq at our villa most nights but the first in particular will eat out as arriving teatime and will have 4 hungry children in tow! Anyone recommend a good reasonably priced restaurant with child friendly food?

L'Alba is very good Jennypen, it overlooks Molins beach at the back of the carpark.

I'm not sure what its like now Jennypen as haven't been for 3 years and having 5 kids myself i know the importance of pleasing them after a hard day travelling.. Try the L'alba at the mollins bay.. I remember as a child having the best ham egg and chips in the world and it was almost as nice when i was 35 and my boys approved..

But as I say its been a long time..

Have fun. I go to PP now but every summer as a child was spent in csv.

CSV is lovely, very scenic but quiet.

We often go the cafe/restaurant that (unfortunately) overlooks that hideous Hotel Don Pedro I think it's called, although you still have a sea view.

It's only 2 years old and very smart. Excellent food/snacks there and won't cost you an arm and a leg. Does all the basic stuff like omellete's, chips, salads, toastie's etc.

Well worth a visit IMO.

When I was last over in May, my Fiancee and I had a nice 3 course set meal for about 15 euros behind one of the car parks. I cant remember the name, but bar mallorca is in front of the Car Park, and this restaurant was behind. It had and indoor BBQ where you could see the food being cooked.

L'alba sounds the place to go! We are only 2 mins from the Molins beach also.

I can go along with L'Alba, also just across the torrent from there is Pepe's which only had lunch in but was fine. Bar Mallorca was always closed up by the evening. Further up the torrent was Modesto which we never ate at but other people recommended. The Irish bar down the main street did fair sized pub type meals but not sure if it is even open anymore. It is Marinas that is opposite the Don Pedro, OK for cafe type meals but nothing special. Stopped staying in CSV 3 years ago, after many years staying at the Botana villas, as we struggled the last couple of years with eating in CSV and found ourselves driving into PP most nights. Such a shame so many places have closed in a place that is so fab.
Also if you are planning on eating in your villa remember to stock up before you get to CSV as the supermarkets there are OK for fresh bread but overpriced for everything else.
