can Cuarassa

Miss Fussie insists on an annual visit to can Cuarassa especially as it was her last night. It’s a wonderful setting and with the menu del dia its normally been a memorable experience. This year it was a little quiet, a sign of the time but no less enjoyable.

Four menu del dias comprising starters of tagliatelle with vegetables in a tomato sauce and two prawn and avocado salads. With mains of stuffed aubergines, seafood rosti and two beef in mushroom sauce for TheFussies and FussieFriends. Miss Fussie opted for a Rustica Salad, yes with bacon! And spaghetti arrabiata as a main. As price included a couple of bottles of wine and the usual free after dinner liqueurs we were well satisfied at a total cost of 140.70 euros. Miss Fussie will insist we return on future visits to PP.

Love this restaurant. Brings out the romance in my soul! Such a lovely restaurant, and the garden is lovely too to eat outside, but we dont often choose it. Can be a bit hit and miss on service sometimes though, but always give it another chance1

Bella an interesting post. After 15 years visiting PP can Cuarassa is one of only two restaurants we have visited every year. I'm sad enough to know 27 times in 15 years. Never experienced issues with service. Wish I could say the same for a number of other forum members favourites such as its sister restaurant Stay. However we tend to vist late June and early July when resort is less busy.

So glad CC has another fan. As you say, its the sister restaurant to Stay but entirely different. I think we were unlucky with the service on the times when they had a wedding on too, which obviously stretched the waiters and the kitchen a little - not much - but enough to feel they were not paying enough attention to the restaurant and more to the wedding, which was held in the marquee in the garden, their website shows fantastic pics of the restaurants wedding setups. Find CC a cozy feel restaurant, being in an older type building than Stay, but still with that top class ambience, and definitely one of my romantic restaurants!
