Always a bit of a problem with cases emmalou. Best bet would be an outside table at one of the many restaurants along Pine Walk I would think. Then you could choose one that had a bit of space to put your cases close by you, or maybe see if the waiters could pop them behind somewhere safe whilst you eat!

The Pinewalk would be a bit of a trek with cases, as Hostal Paris is 2 streets back from C/Verge del Carmen or 3 back from Passeig Saralegui, i would suggest the restaurants there would be easier for you.

Hi emmalou
We have exactly the same timing dilemma. We are flying from Leeds very early and arriving at noon and will have to wait until around 3pm for our villa to be ready.
Our plan is to head to the little restaurant next to the Llenaire restaurant on a sort of little corner. I don't know what it's called but I'm sure someone else will.
We will be driving so our cases will be in full view in our car so we had to think of somewhere that we could park right outside to keep a watchful eye on the car.
Have a good hol and I hope you find somewhere you like for your first lunch.

Hostal Paris (I think) is not too far from Bellavista which would be a lovely setting for a lunch set in a beautiful courtyard. Cases could be safely stowed there as its off the street.

I didn't realise O'Lume did a lunch time tapas menu. Think I might try it another day. I arrive on Tuesday and I think O'Lume is closed that day so I will have to wait.
We are staying for 3 whole weeks!!! I've got a huge list of restaurants that I want to try - all of which are recommendations from this forum.

Thanks for the replies. I would like to go to Bellavista, but not sure would be the girls choice, vegatables and all that!!! Will try and give O Lume a go during our hols, after reading the recent reviews about it. Had a look on the map and think Can Balache or Citrus (Fletchers) look fairly close, so might give one of them a try.

Emmalou, you would be most welcome here as you would with Maureen & Kenny at Citrus, both less than 5 minutes from your drop off and we have a room where you can leave your luggage if you wish. We look foward to seeing you

HELLO THERE,
I would imagine that your room will be available in the Hostal Paris when you arrive at 1200. Have you advised them of your estimated arrival time so they can consider this when arranging the cleaning rotas. Hotel rooms are usually available from 1200hrs its individual private apartments and villas which take much longer to clean and therefore do not allow entry before 1400/1500hrs. Even if your room is not ready they will have somewhere to leave you cases safe whilst you go off and have some lunch. I agree that Can Balache will be a perfect place to go and enjoy a light lunch and a cold beer. Enjoy your holiday.

JMD, Emmalou said they were being dropped off at Hostal Paris, i don't think they are staying there as she said the " apartment" might not be ready .

woops, sorry did not read it carefully enough..... fingers crossed your apartment is ready - the important thing is that the person responsable knows what time you are likely to arrive so they can, if physically possible, work around that time.... If not, Can Balache will be great even with your cases.
