Default Prices This Year?

Hi All
Arriving in PP for 17 days in approx 5 weeks after 3 year break - can't wait!
Please provide feedback on prices in restaurants and bars - have they gone up or approx the same as last couple of years?
Any new restaurants/bars that I should be looking for?
Best Regards RJ

Hi RJ
Prices are much the same, but even more places doing MDD and evening specials, example 3 courses with a beer or wine 15 euros, have a good look around and ask, you may get a bargain.

Hi and welcome best way for you to get all the information you need is to spend a little time going through the threads on here you will find prices and in depth reports on most places to eat, even supermarket prices. It will take you a little time but well worth it that way when you get here you will know exactly were to eat etc. its like PPs own little bibble lol have fun

Just back from a weeks break.
There are definitely more M del D's about than ever before.
Some we had were very good value, although in a couple of cases the portions appeared to have been scaled down to fit the price,as it were.

I got back from PP in early June, and i must say that i thought that prices had gone up since the last time i was there, tho that was 3 years ago.

To be honest I don't think most places have put their prices up for a few years - not for the main courses on the a la carte menus anyway. A few restaurants are charging a couple of euros more for their menu del dia but these are a bargain in any case.

The one thing we do always find expensive compared to the UK is the starters, which are often around the 8-10 euro mark or even more. Definitely best to opt for the set menus wherever possible!

I would agree that prices do not seem to have changed much for the past couple of years. Having just spent a week in France was pleased to come back to pay a reasonable price for a cup of coffee.
