Question Shoulder of Lamb

My son in law is staying with us for a couple of days and he is a staunch meat eater, we would like to take him to try a shoulder of lamb, anybody any recommendations?

El Posito have shoulder of Lamb on their menu, excellent last time I was there which was Sept 2010. However all the traditional Mallorcan restaurants will have shoulder or leg some where in their repertoire. I'm a great fan of lamb had it in many places in mallorca maybe been lucky but have always enjoyed it.

A friend of mine, who's a serious 'lamb fan' raved about the shoulder he had in Miguelon a couple of weeks back (On the front, just town side of the river - next to Simbad).

Never had a bad one in PP. The biggest and tastiest I had was at Los Pescadores - huge! But this restaurant is sadly now closed. I had a good one at Brisa Marina last week, and my brother had one (also very good) at C'an Josep. Seems to me this is generally a safe bet if you are unsure of the restaurant, as it's a Mallorcan standard. The lamb at O Lume is also delicious, but you have to pre-order.

I think Bar Coral, Los Zarzales and the lovely Los Pescadores, (as PaulB says, sadly no longer with us,) are the best for lamb. Zarzales also do a lovely suckling pig.
I'm starving now! Just gonna have my beans on toast.

Can't go wrong at Bar Coral - but you'd better be hungry, it's large!
Los Zarzales (inside) if you want better surroundings and El Posito if a little more 'local'.

Can Ferra (little peoples) you have to order it the day before minimum 2 people it cost 17 euros pp last year and includes a selection of tapas starters and dessert also it's theatrically carved at your table by Martin the owner, also very good lamb at La Goleta
