My wife and I are really looking forward to the day when we will be old enough to eat at Bar Coral.

Wow, thanks for all your suggestions, a few old favourites there and Bar Coral, which I am ashamed to say we have never tried, but will remedy that before we return home.

Lollipop, would have loved to have taken them to Alaro after our unforgetable experience (lamb and road!)

My step son did, however, get his lamb this evening, we went to 'Bistro Mar' in Alcudia. Excellent lamb, fell off the bone and a hefty joint into the bargain. The rest of us had the black paella, which was also excellent. I would definately recommend this restaurant in the Port of Alcudia (on the jetty near to the wooden bridge, that goes nowhere!) better to book as they do get very busy in the summer months.

Sounds good Whaley.
Black Paella (Arroz Negra) is a favourite of mine but it has to be served with plenty of alioli, El Posito does a particularly good one. But that's another story.

"Los Zarzales (inside) if you want better surroundings..."

Have to disagree with you there, Pescador2009. There is nothing better than sitting in the courtyard of Los Zarzales on a beautiful summer evening, a little band playing Spanish music and eating that lovely food and drinking the evening away. Paradise. The service is great, as well.

Hi Pollpot (Tony) , I don't totally disagree with you - BUT this year (just over a week ago) the courtyard was closed due to the bad weather AND a lack of customers.
This year is the first time I have eaten inside at 'Los Z', far too cold outside.
I just commented that it was a really nice building inside and that people should possibly try it, or at least have a look in!
Happy eating.

I think we can both say, inside or outside, it's a great place. I wish I was there now.

Going there tonight I love the courtyard and the interior but have to agree with pollpott that on a warm summers evening I would much prefer the courtyard.

Suckling pig here I come!

Hope they have the pretty lights up if you go into the tented area, or will you go totally al fresco!
