Smile Restaurante & Bar Miguelon

We have just been to the opening night of Restaurante & Bar Miguelon and had a fantastic meal at really great rates. It had great service and atmosphere with a mixture of locals and holiday makers.
It is situated two along from Simbad's on the main road opposite the beach. The address is
Passeig Saralegui, 134
07470 Port de Pollenca

Miguel made our night, We hope you enjoy it too!

Hi Belter52.
Rafa is running La Batucada now and Miguelón is running his own business

Great to see good reviews on Miguelon restaurant - local characters known and liked by so many, making a success of things with locals and tourists alike in these difficult times is genuinly good to see. I have heard several excellent reports. They have gentle live music twice a week - think its Thursday and Sunday. Best to reserve a table as last Sunday evening most of the tables were booked on the terrace. BON APETIT!

this was one of the restaurants on our list to try out this visit
but heard a couple of mediocre reviews about the quality of the food and decided not to bother sticking to our usual tried and tested restaurantss for most the 33 days of our trip
more to follow

Spoke to Miguel back in May about his new venture. He said he was getting one of the best chefs in the area in, so im expecting the food to be good. Going to give it a try hopefully in September.

Default miguelon's restaurant

Hi Smiddy. I would certainly give it a try !!
I have been several times to Miguelon's and the quality of the food was excellent!
IMO restaurants are like books or music..... some reports will be good ...
some will not be good.. so the best thing is to judge by yourself and if you do so..... que aproveche!! bon apetit!!

The food isn't great (apart from the fish being perfectly cooked) and the service was very slow. But you have to try these places to find out.
