For tapas we usually go to Neptuno in PP, they have a really good selection.

Enjoy !

Default nice place to eat

If you want to try a great place, try Nico´s in the square I loved it. They have home-made american cooking, great waiters and good music." also try the apple crumble, it was incredible!!!!!":rollin

Hi Matt,

Our favourite lunch spot is Little Italy along to Pine Walk. Great views, friendly attentive service (the French part-owner is hilarious) fab food.

For snack type Tortilla or nice salad try Hibiscus in the square or we like Bisas just at the start of the Pine Walk.

Yep - I'm with Placer - it does look a little grotty but we have friends who love it. I've only ever risked a 10 o'clock lemonade myself! :rolleyes

Default Eating Out

Hi Placer,
Can't agree with you about Neptuno not being clean. It's just not modern. We have been eating there regularly for 36 years. If yiu use the criteria that a place is not clean because it's not bright and modern there are several of the Port's better eating places that come under that category, such as Bar Cultural, Ca'n Pancho, Ca'n Ferra etc. All great places with genuine Mallorquin atmosphere.
Being a newbie you may not have had chance to find them yet.
Happy hunting

Default eating out

Hello Peroo,

Yes, I have to agree with you that not always, old means dirty and new means clean. I love old places, they have lots of character. But in the case of Neptunos, I´m not to sure. I am going out next month on a quick trip " I am going to look for a place to buy" and I will try the restaurants that you mentioned, thanks!

I have in love with Mallorca, this last time I went out I realized that it is the best.
