Default The new entertainment capital of Puerto Pollensa

Forget the pine walk with it’s expensive “coffee shops”,

Don’t bother with the Square and it’s over priced “ Irish bars”, karaoke & tex mex

La Gola is “thee” place to be. The shiny new Resto Buddha Bar is now open the new & inexpensive tapas bar la cabana, top restaurants La Goleta, Los Zarzales,Tolos' Torre Playa. Citrus bistro bar opening next week, Miguel from Bonanca bar opening the old G & G next week, Mombassa café late night bar, Panini Nord for the best chicken in the resort & Can Balache café – Bar. All smart establishments and not a clothes peg in sight.

I totally agree with all you say about the above, and really look forward to seeing the new Buddha Bar, but I also like Bony's eccentricity and the class of the Pine Walk.

That's one of the beauties of PP, it caters for all sorts....

(Just so long as it does continue to get the smarter venues mind).

I certainly agree that this part of the resort has something for everyone, we ate at La Goleta for the first time last summer and it was superb also enjoyed G&G though sadly closed, glad its not been left empty for long. Can Balache is also a favourite of ours and we look foward to trying Buddah Bar & Citrus on our next visit. This is in our opinion the up and coming area of PP.

Nice one Siralf, but if the area of Gola is going to develope into a good bustling area for restaurantes and bars it would be good if the traffic flow was at least restricted so that the bars etc could spread a little. Did I dream it or was the traffic half heartedly sent into total chaos a couple of years ago when the council tried to introduce a traffic scheme. "What happened to that".
I'm all in favour of letting that area develope, it's got the best beach of the whole resort. Bring it on. Oh ! by the way everyone get down to MIGUELO'S ( old G&G bar) as I think Miguel opens this week.

I'm not sure I understand the clothes peg reference. I've not been to PP yet though - maybe all will become clear when I get there?

Thanks for the tips. Will definitely check out that area then.

As Bony's is not in La Gola it really is irrelevant on this thread, don't you think?.

Reakt, some of the posts before you were probably ironic, unfortunately that doesn't come over very well on a forum
