Trencadora
Does anyone know when Trencadora in Pollensa town re-opens for the spring/summer season?
Would anyone reccomend here (or anywhere else) for post wedding drinks and tapas for an hour or so late afternoon in mid summer? Many thanks

I do not know when Trencadora reopens, but I would think this would be a wonderful location for you to use, Can Costa is another lovely place.

Am afraid that the format of Trencadora may be changing as were asked to remove the advert. We don't have any more info at the moment. If anyone else knows, do post here,
Thanks,
Webmaster

Pollensa what do you mean by the format? I hope it's not closing down I'm out this weekend and will try and find out some info.
C'an Costa would be a fantastic venue but doesn't open 'till 7pm.
What about C'an Olesa in the square?

I meant that I understand that someone else will be running it & we don't know what sort of restaurant it will be yet. So if you find out do let us know,
Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback. Debz, I cant think which one Can Olesa is, can you tell me if im standing in the square with the church behind me, would it be straight ahead?
Think I may need a weekend over there if Trencadora isnt going to be available! What an excuse!

Hi gemmakate, yes you're right C'an Olesa is directly opposite the church..the pretty building that has spotlights on it at night.
And yes I agree any excuse for weekend in PP so think you should definitely go and check out some venues before you decide
Good luck

Thanks debs, got husband-to-be on the case booking flights for a weekend asap(yipee!)
Weve got the evening reception sorted at the Nautic Club in pp so dont need too much formality, just drinks and tapas straight after church. Will find Can Olesas details and email them. Let you know how i get on........this website has been invaluable in helping us sort out wedding details, thanks for your info, Gem

I'm really sorry to hear that Trencadora, as we know it, is closing.
It'll be a real loss to the old town.
I have many happy memories of sitting there and eating delicious food, enjoying the wonderful surroundings.

What a shame In my opinion the best restaurant in Pollensa for food and ambience.
Christophe we met you through our daughter Vicki who was working in C'an Costa last summer. Really sorry to hear that Trencadora is closing.
