Default Los Faroles

What a surprise, we have often walked past Los Faroles, checking the menu which seemed quite varied and price ok but the overall impression from the street was not very inviting. Looking for a blind paella (one with all the bones & shells removed), we went to this restaurant last night. Wish we had tried it before, the paella was tasty and plentiful, the waiter was really pleasant and once you go through the restaurant, past the bar into the back there is a lovely dining area. We will definately return to try other mouthwatering dishes on their menu.

Please don't be put off by the uninviting facade, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Yes totally agree with you!
The staff there are great, the service is good and the food is excellent! Some great paintings on the wall too! We try to fit in one visit at least whilst we are in Puerto Pollensa.
They also do excellent cafe con leche and ensaimada too if you are looking for a pleasant breakfast stop.

I haven't been there for a long time but agree with you, if you want fish or lobster they bring it to the table on a trolley for you to select which one you want. I love their "Tournedos Rossini" served with a Madiera sauce absolutely fantastic!!!!!!.

Definitely one of the best restaurants in PP, and unbeatable for any type of paella, just look at the locals packing the place on Sundays

Can't think how I have missed this one - I know it is very popular with locals - perhaps it was the exterior which discouraged us... Will give it a try next week (only four more sleeps!) and report back.

Thumbs up

Hi we went to this restaurant last week it was one of the only restaurants open at 10.30pm and the waiter was very friendly and welcoming. I had fillet steak followed by cheese board both delicious my hubby had leg of lamb which was fab followed by coconut pud which was actually like coconut pannacota it was lovely. We had a bottle of house red and I had coffee and a very large tia maria - the bill was around 60 euro very good value. The table was beautifully set and the whole experience was very pleasant. We will definitly return.
