Default Es Verger

Nearly unknown and an insider tip, is the restaurant "Es Verger" in the mountains above Alaro. To reach it you have to drive an adventoures serpentine road from Alaro in the signposted direction "Castillo". The arduous trip is well worth it as you have a marvellous view over the complete island. In the rustic restaurant you will receive, in our opinion, the best roast lamb on the island. After your meal you have to try Francisca's well known "Cremadillo"... a typical Majorcan friendships drink…..and then…….. (you'll find the way back down much easier

I found this on the internet.

I hope it is useful.

Turned on to watch it last night (it's on on Thursdays in Scotland) and... it was about Morrocco! Hopefully that means it's Mallorca next week? :rolleyes Anyone been watching who can tell me?

Sorry Lala,
Rick Steins programme was on both Wednesday & Thursday night (for all the UK). Weds was Mallorca & Barca and last nights was Morocco & Turkey. Hopefully it will end up being repeated at some stage.
