Wink The Guinness Club.

I was strolling through the square this afternoon, there was hardly a soul about but Jose was busying himself varnishing the woodwork outside Bony's, as always we exchange the traditional pleasantries and he informs that he will now be opening on the 4th April maybe . He then invites me to have a look at his latest brainchild, the inside bar area which is to be named "The Guinness Club" , typically Jose, all the signs are upside down including the clock , that apart it is actually very nicely decorated with subdued lighting.
The best news for all you Guinness drinkers is that he will be selling it for €3.50 a pint.

P.S, i know Jose is famous for his tacky signs but he has a new one that is actually quite old ....i am not going to say what it is but will wait to see how eagle eyed you all are.

P.P.S, This sign will be more visible in the evenings.

Sparky,

Sounds really tasteful , God knows what state our garage is in ( Jose parks his car near mine ) . Last time he made all those wooden windbreaks it looked like a gang of chipmunks had run amok !!!

Now the sign , illuminated and quite old ????

Don't tell me .

He's re rigged the " Burger King " sign that the council asked em to remove about six years ago.

We were Rebel - just my sense of humour towards BL, not appreciated by everyone, and for which I apologise!

We've just had lunch with Jose and mad man or not, he is a damn good business man who knows just how to get the punters in. He says he is opening on the 5th or 6th so it should be reasonably quiet over the bar next week but then, at the moment the square is very, very quiet at nights.
