Hi had a lovely relaxing few days in the north last week. Despite a few rainy days it was as beautiful as ever.
We tried the newly opened Meson, - twice in fact! We were really impressed by the friendliness, and the quality of food. Menu at lunchtime was 9 Euros. Excellent three courses. My friend who lives on the island told me that we had missed the Music night on Saturday. Lots of dancing, sounds brilliant. I am so pleased that there is a good local restaurant in that area.

We drove past last Saturday on way back from Festival Park and were amazed to see loads of cars parked there. Does anyone know who has taken it over after Mandy and Arnie vanished. What sort of music on Saturday. I will stop there and check it out if I remember next time I drive along there. It is a good venue and years ago was popular with locals as had music on Sat night similar to Trio.

It is has been taken back by the owner. I don't know about music but they did do a special for Valentine's day on the Saturday before. The menu was good,with drinks and dancing at a cost of €25.
