Default IKEBANA - Anyone been ?

Hi

This is my first post on this forum We are leaving tonight for PP !! Can't wait !

I saw this restaurant advertised as doing 3 course lunches for 8 euros ! This seemed like such a good deal, perhaps too good to be true so I was wondering if anyone had been and what the food was like ?

We have a teenager and 2 toddlers but they all eat quite well.

Thanks

You will find that several places do a lunchtime menu at around that price & the food is always good & homemade. Ikebana has the advantage of an outside area & if you don't know the area is near the Pollensa Park Hotel - see grid ref E13 on the map at www.puertopollensa.com/maps/southern.html

The Sunday lunch which normally includes Paella as a main course is very popular. If you do visit them, do let them know that you saw them on puertopollensa.com - Thank You.

Hi Flippy and welcome.

Lucky you, off to PP tonight.

Most pleased to see Ikebana now advertising on here.

Been in a few times, sometimes just for a drink other times for lunch and always enjoyed. Home type cooking and we notice supported by locals and also Brits living in that part of town.

Give it a buzz don't see you being disappointed and there will be something for the family to get their teeth in to.

Oh, and then tell us about it when you get home!

Enjoy your holidays!

Been?
I would live there if I could!

The paella (Sunday lunch special) is really good.
(The number of locals eating there and the number calling for the take-away paella say it all.)

If you like steak...try the T-bone!
If you like lamb chops, they do a 2kg. of lamb chops (you need more than one person to attempt this!)

Cheers!

Frito
