Default Siurell

Siurell is the restaurant that has also been referred to as the one at the back of Llenaire's.

It is run by Pepe who used to run Llenaire's and I can honestly say that it is fantastic.

We went for lunch on the two Sunday's of our holiday and had the the menu del dia each time. The food and choice is excellent.

My daughter and I had Melon with Serrano Ham to start, Chicken breast and salad followed by Flan. Bread, olive and allioli were included and the price was 14.50 (euros) each. Hubby had Calamares to start (which he said were home made), Chicken/Pork Kebab and chocolate mousse cake to finish which was 13.50 including the bread, olives and allioli.
We ate pretty much the same on the second sunday but just a small change to the desserts.

We went along in the evenings for a drink occasionally and the restaurant was virtually full each night.

I would really recommend this place.

So glad you enjoyed it Cocoa and given it it's own thread...certainly deserves it.
I discovered Siurell in May and it was my "find of the holiday" loved it, food great and yes the staff were extremely pleasant. The indian restaurant you mentioned could take a leaf out of their book.
Will spend a lot more time at Siurell next visit!

PS Glad you really enjoyed it too Sunny!

I agree completely Cocoa. Pepe is so kind and his BBQ skills are second to none. The girls working there are friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. Children are especially welcome and any baby is kissed, cuddled and made a complete fuss of. The food is very high quality and for a very reasonable price and parking is a breeze.
We took 11 people there for lechona last year which we ordered a few days in advance and Pepe spent 2 days preparing it and it was the best lechona I have had in the Port. We once had a bill at Stay for 6 of us that was more than what we paid at Pepe's that night. I would recommend it to anyone.

We ate there in July this year and 2 years ago in August. The menu has got bigger and better. The food is simply amazing. There was never a problem and the staff are extremely friendly. If you are near you must try it. Its an excellent place to have a drink in a nicely lit area in the evening with the sea breeze cooling you down. Everything is really fresh and really value for money in my opinion.

You will not be disappointed if you visit here. 10/10 for certain!

David is there and still his usual self but we didn't eat there so can't comment. However, it was very quiet in the evening.

Why feel a traitor Belladonna - it was Pepe who started the business. Well, actually it was a guy called Miguel just before Pepe when we first started going....

I have to agree with the previous posts. We went twice when we were in PP this summer and the food was excellent and the service very friendly. The tapas portions were massive and very, very tasty.

Would strongly recommend it.

Not to forget that it was Tolo who started out at Rest Llenariare many moons ago - it was always packed when he had it - best paella in the port then.

On this map number 41 is the Galleon Hotel. If you take the next road on the right (with the Galleon on your right) restaurant Llenaire is on the corner, and Siurell is next door to it.
