Best 5 Restaurant's in PP 2011 (IYO)
 

Due to the great response last year to this thread & due to the one posted this year that was locked, I have decided to run this as the best 5 restaurant's in PP this year IN YOUR OPINION. Rules as follows:

1. You must have been to the restaurant's you are voting for this year (2011).

2. You must vote on 5 restaurants ONLY that are within PP.

3. Vote from 1st being the best & so on to 5th.

4. Points awarded are 5 points for first, 4 points for 2nd, 3 points for third, 2 points for fourth & 1 point for fifth.

We all like restaurants for different reasons i.e food, location, atmosphere, service etc. so please vote as you will, but keep to the rules above as to avoid confusion & watch as the voting unfolds over the coming season & year.

For anybody that is interested, last years results as follows:

1st. Stay with 50 points.
2nd. El Posito with 45 points.
3rd. O'Lume with 44 points.
4th. Tango with 32 points.
5th. C'an Josep with 30 points.

MWC, I am so pleased you have decided to run with this again as it was a very popular thread last year.
Now with my moderators hat firmly on i will ask that all members refrain from suggesting the title of the thread should be changed (any such posts will be deleted), you must have visited recenty ie : 2011, also not to vote for more than 5 (less than 5 is fine) and also this is only for PP restaurants.

Can we include Pollenca restaurants or is it purely the port?

As has already been said this thread is only for PP restaurants .
However if someone wants to start a separate thread for Pollensa Town eateries, please feel free.

Applying the criteria of restaurants open so far this year in March 2011:-

(1) Stay
(2) Los Zarzarles
(3) Hibiscus
(4) El Castinet
(5) Tango

Thanks for reposting this thread 'mwc' it is very timely - looks good to me and I am sure it will be very well used by all the PP 'foodies' again this season. Lots of points for lots of restaurants. Bet the old favourites do well again, will be interesting to see if any newcomers (new eating places) get in on the act.
Will be many, many months before we find out who comes top again.

Love this thread, brings so much controversy!! LOL! One query - the devil in the detail type. If we are lucky enough to go over more than once, are we allowed to update our original top 5 if we find a new "best", or do we have to stick to our first options, or wait until the end of the year before we post?
I think we put something like "Amended list" then our first one could be discounted. Your post, your rules mwc!

Belladonna, if anybody is lucky enough to visit more than once I cant see any harm in changing your original choices, probably best way is to edit your original post with your changes as this will make adding up scores easier.

Good idea, although should also put a post in saying original post amended - just incase it has already been counted. Now I'm just confusing myself, but you know what I mean mwc! Cant wait to start!:cool:
