Default Italian Restaurant Liz

OH came back last night with a takeaway from Mirch Massala, after battling through the rain, hail, thunder and lightening, while I sat at home snuggled in watching tv He noticed opposite MM a little Italian restaurant called Liz which he had never seen before and I've never seen written about on the forum. It was apparently packed which considering the weather last night shows it must be popular. Has anyone ever been?

BTW our curry was delicious! Chicken korma, chicken jalfrezi, pilau rice, onion bhajis, bombay potatoe, nan bread and poppadums with all the various dips for 35€

This is the rear entrancee to the Restaurant Lis which is the main restaurant at the Aparthotel Flora.

About 4 years ago they took on a really good italian chef, Massimo, and rebranded the restaurant as Italian. Unfortunately he was only there for one year. They offer a MDD for 10 euros (excluding drinks) and an a la carte including some pasta dishes and several pizza choices but I would not describe it as an Italian restaurant.

Thanks marilyn didn't realise it was part of the Flora...that explains why it was so busy last night as people staying there probably didn't want to venture into town
