Default Restaurants not, or seldom mentioned

Thinking about all the various eateries in PP, there are quite a lot about which there is never a mention on the Forum.

Tamarells, the only "beach bar" type in PP, lots of this type in other parts of Spain.

El Meson, just off Joan XX111 near Caprabo.

Pepes, opposite Flora apartments.

Mirch Massala ditto.

Sparrow. near the Pollensa Park Hotel.

Ikebana ditto.

El Ancla on south beach.

Siller near Caprabo.

Laroc, opposite Coral.

Brisas and IRU and El Casinet right on the front.

El Pozo( a quick beer, tapas and a quick check of your email)

To mention a few.

Anyone?

El Cano? We ate there a lot when we first visited PP. I remember lots of red cabbage but the food was very good. Maybe it doesn't get a mention because it's a bit tucked away and hasn't a view?

Next time we're in PP we must give it a go (if it's still there!).

I know what you mean Porto, the thing is there are so many good restaurants in the port, lots of choice for different budgets, some never get a mention, not because they are bad or anything, just one thing I always mention Tamerells, we always have a few lunches there, unbeatable for the view and ease to stagger back to the sunbeds.

Hmnnnnnnnnnnn trust my friend of old, Jane to come back and mention one that I forgot!

El Cano, in calle El Cano near the Joan XX111 end, sorry about that Jane, so come on somebody dine and give us all a report!

And another one btw, maybe even for you sws M8!

La Bodeguitta, facing the car park, on Roger de Flor, is it?

MDD in Spanish, no English spoken, at least last time we were in, tiled wall behind the bar depicting Seville, tables are wine barrels with a glass top, have tried lunch, with the workies watching the National Geographia channel.

Photo by Sea Captain. have a look.

Yep Bodaquitta, great bar and you always get a tapas with your drink. It's on Roger de Flor opposite the car park.

When we walked past El Cano in July/Aug it looked closed to me. There was no activity, door closed and the windows looked a bit dusty. Sparky - do you know if this is the case?

We went here a few times years ago as we stayed in a friends apartment actually in the El Cano complex - it was our local so as to speak!

Hi Porto

I must get round to my trip report. Been so busy renovating a house with my son since I got back.

Sparrow ate there twice superb steaks and fish this is a really good restaurant and very reasonable about 14euros for a steak and they were offering a MDD 3 course for about 14 euros.

Ikebana This was our "find" of the holiday last year very friendly Lady and the best Paella in the Port, IMO, we popped in and ordered it in the morning for a late lunch.

Bar Bodequitta. Fantastic find 2 drinks and a free tapa with each round, very cheap wine and a beer 3 euros

Another bar we tried for the first time Cap de Canto Large bottle beer 1.5euros and a glass of wine for 1 euro also served free tapas great value for money both real locals bars.

Have a good one
