Restaurant Review part 1

Hi,
I thought I would a post my restaurant reviews. Unfortunately, I didn't keep any receipts and so therefore can't remember what anything cost (sorry!), in fact its all fading very quickly so here goes.


Corb Mari
This was our first stop after arriving. The husband and I both had steak which was excellent and was the best steak we ate all fortnight. The ambience was very good and we enjoyed the evening very much.

O'Lume
Dissapointed. We had pork loin which was dry and overcooked, although we enjoyed the side dishes of chunky chips and vegetables. There wasn't a great atmosphere at all as there were not many diners that night.

The Stay
We ate at the stay three times as we loved it.
The first time we dined the husband was so inebriated from cocktails at the I'lador that he couldn't remember much about it, I assured him though that he had thorougly enjoyed his fish soup and his mixed grill , in fact after his meal he had wanted to sing with Elvis in the bar at the end of the road.

The second time we visited, it was myself who had fallen prey to the I'lador cocktails, and the husband reasured me that I had thorougly enjoyed my vegetable soup and my fish kebabs, in fact so much that I felt the need to sing with Freddie Mercury at the Palms !

The third time, was our last night, and we weren't going to forget one second. No Ilador and no cocktails I said !
How very sensible. It was a freezing cold night (by Majorcan standards), and there we were all wrapped up like eskimos with blankets. Great food but difficult to eat with a straight jacket on. However that didn't stop me enjoying my roast lambe (beautiful), !!! Great food, great service , perfect.

Really glad you enjoyed your first trip to PP and discovered the Illa d'or's cocktails....not everyone does on their first trip.....so well done you!

Enjoyed your review...it did make me laugh, been there done that....it does make for an enjoyable evening to participate in the entertainment...that's what holidays are for......to let your hair down!

Made me laugh too BL, I can remember speaking to you before you went, are you going to post on your general views, always good to get the opinion of a first timer
