Rabbit stew
 

Friend of ours remembers having Rabbit stew many moons ago in Puerto Pollensa now returning if anyone knows of a restaurant in the Port or Pollensa that has this on the menu,

Quite a few restaurants do rabbit and onions which you could describe as a stew - is that what you mean? It's delicious, much more flavoursome than chicken. I have had it at La Llonja in the Port and Bar Nou in the old town, amongst others. I would think most of the restaurants with traditional Mallorcan menus would have it - it tends to crop up quite a bit on lunchtime set menus.

Its always been excellent at La Fortalesa .

Ashamed to say haven't been for ages , but always have it there.

Totally agree BL - La fortalesa was superb this year as always (11 year old concurs as she has the taste buds in the family!) - however havent tried it anywhere else, but i wouldn't describe it as a stew? Thats one for the next visit then. Although you should try it again sooner rather than later as I dont think Martin will be staiyng for much longer. Good luck to him in his retirement, I hope whoever takes it over keeps it the same with chefs and all.

Yeah, accept it's more of a casserole but generically called be called stew.

Still yummy whatever you call it !!!
