Question Planning Late March/Early April holiday 2011

What is Puerto Pollensa like in early spring? How busy will PP be during late March early April next year? Easter is late next year, it is over the 4th weekend in April. Will there be many promenaders along Pine Walk? Will most of the eating and drinking establishments be open by then? Or will it be like a ghost town? We would be grateful to hear of any experiences that people have had by holidaying out of season. Thanks.

Default March/April

Hi,

I was out in PP for 5 days this year end of March start of April time.

It was a lovely time to be out especially as on the 1st of April there was a lovely buzz about the place as many places that had been closed for the winter were out cleaning and opening up for the start of the season. It is still fairly quiet but I loved it.

Even before the 1st April though there was plenty of choice for us to eat in, C'an Josep, La Llonja, Nautica Club, Stay and plenty of places for coffees.

We had a lovely time and also very nice weather.

I would definitely visit again at this time of year.

Many thanks for the info, Star. I imagine 1st April is the start of the low season as hotel prices seem to jump up quite sharply about then.
