Default Zarzeula??

Has anyone had one - can you recommend it?? Saw it advertised in Bar Coral last time we ate there but requires 24 hours notice, is it fish based or a combination of fish and meat??

Found this recipe online, I'm veggie so never had it, hopefully someone can tell you what it tastes like

Recipe - Zarzuela ( Catalan Fish Stew )

Ingredients (for four portions):

500 grams mussels (no shells, wash)
500 grams shrimps, scampi (raw)
500 grams squid (washed and cut into pieces)
500 to 750 grams of fish fillets (haddock, cod, whiting, conger) Firm fillets, cut into large pieces)
One large onion, (sliced)
4 Garlic cloves (chopped)
A handful of white almonds (Roughly grind)
250 grams of bacon (cut into pieces)
500 grams of peeled tomatoes in pieces.
Salt & ground Pepper to taste
Saffron to taste
Half a cup of dry red wine
Juice of half a Lemon
Parsley, chopped
1 cup of virgin Olive Oil

Directions:

Saute the onion in half a cup olive oil, add the bacon, almonds, tomato, garlic, saffron, salt and ground black pepper.
Heat over medium heat for about 15 minutes (without a lid) until most liquid has evaporated.
Add remaining olive oil, wine and lemon juice.
Add all the fish except mussels and shrimps, and stream this for about 8 minutes (with lid) on a low heat.
Finally, add the mussels, shrimps and parsley and steam for another 2 minutes. Serve with slices baguette, or similar
