Default Everest Indian Restaurant

After a cold wet day out we decided a nice hot curry would be just the thing for our evening meal.

We went for our first ever meal at the Everest Indian Restaurant (in the main street opposite the Eroski supermarket).

Don't go if you are in a hurry because a lot of the meal is prepared freshly and this can take a while, but it was certainly worth waiting for as the food was delicious. It is also very friendly and welcoming. There was one other English table and the rest were all Spanish on the evening we went so it seems very popular with the locals.

For 49 euros we had:
poppadums and relishes
spicy onion bread
Chicken Jalfrezi
Chicken Saag
bottle of Marques de Caceres
pot of excellent darjeeling tea
coffee
brandy

Great post Mariquita, have never done Indian in PP, always have a take-away on our first night back in Uk. Is it open all year? might try it in the winter.

Hi,

Yes it is open in winter. Yet to try it out but will inform you all in due course after we have been.

Hi Mariquita

It's hard to go a whole holiday without a curry! Might venture in - is it an indoor place or is there a garden? does it have air con?

Thanks Lala
