Default Special occasion resaurants?

We are possibly going to return to Puerto Pollensa for our 40th wedding anniversary in March 08.

Is there a top class/special/ '5 star' restaurant in or around Puerto - or even further afield - that would suit.

I've read some guides and have a fair idea of the restaurants in Puerto, but was wondering if some little gem of a place was known to you.

Many thanks...

My top choice would be La Tarazza in Alcanada with its beautiful location overlooking the bay of Alcudia. It's only 15/20 mins taxi ride from PP. The food and service are both excellent...mind you in March it will probably be too cold to eat outside and this is one of the things that makes this restaurant really special.

They have a very good website www.alcanadalaterraza.com

I would also highly recommend Clivia or Ca'n Costa in Pollensa both of which are very stylish and just that extra bit special when you want to push the boat out . Check out the reviews of both these restaurants in this section

One thing I have learned from this Forum is that we all have our own likes and dislikes. For me, if I was going to choose one restaurant and feel I was going to have a great meal, it would be between Stay and Ca'n Cuarassa. The service and food are wonderful and the setting for both is fantastic.
In fact they are both on my list whilst there in Feb
