Default Bon Cepa

We ate in Bon Cepa last friday evening

It was a cold cold night , but an improvement on the previous night when we got caught in a hail storm , but more of that in another post

ths is a place Ihave passed many times ( often on the way to O Lume ) but never ventured in ...... meant to but never got round to it.

Had a lovelly meal .......... medium mixed tapas starter for me ( was nearly full by the time I finished that ! ) and veg soup for him ......... then I had pork in a cinnamon sauce and he who thinks he must be obeyed had lamb ........ coffee for 2 plus shared ( unevenly coz one of us was driving and it wasn't me ! ) a nice bottle of Rioja and the whole lot came to about 50 euros

We will definitely go again

I love this restaurant. The staff are so friendly, food is great - always a good lunch or evening meal.

As long as whatsisface isn't swinging from the bars in the Imperial across the way!!

Bona Cepa has been there ever since we started visiting the Port in 1971, as have a number of restaurants. It has been consistantly good over the years, Long may it last.

Peru,

Well said, Bona Cepa has got to be one of my favourite restaurants in PP.
I have eaten there for years and always enjoy a wonderful evening with friends. The garlic prawns are exquisite.
Can anyone tell me if it is open towards the end of January this year please.

Many thanks

Bona Cepa has always been a favourite of mine - we used to go there alot as a family in the 70s.

Stopped using it when little children arrived, but now they are more grown up and adventurous we are starting to go again and love the atmosphere in the rear restaurant. My daughter loves their paella (I think Martin's is better)
