Lala,

Don't cry too much, the temp has fallen to 14 degrees C today
( bryyyyyyyyyyggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

Keep your Edinburgh weather to yourselves in future !!!!!!

To keep on restaurants thread, had great meals in O'Lume and Posito during last week.

All bodes well for this season so far.

Everything is opening up slowly , ready for Easter.

Talking Dakota (Tex Mex)

Hi Again!
As you all know there are two Dakotas one in the sqaure and one opposite the Corb Mari, but i was out today and noticed a THIRD dakota which had just put the Dakota signs up.
It's on the very front next to Ben & Jerries ice cream.
(I'm sorry but i can't remember what was there before!)

Here's a pic...

Captain,

Oh my !!!!!, might be losing my marbles as I was only there last week. But it looks like the Mestral Bar to me. There was certainly some work going on there.

It's certainly not Pescalino as they were live and kicking a week ago and if it is on the corner it looks like the Mestral to me.

What do the rest of you think ?

I have been told there is a fourth opening soon too. Also along the front.

I'm sure there's going to be plenty of unhappiness about another Tex Mex , but please can you keep this thread to 'It's Open' so that people know what is Open & can decide whether or not they'd like to go there.

Thanks very much Webmaster.

(& once everywhere that's going to open this year is Open, we can close this thread!)

Sea Captain

These photos are excellent. Thank you.

We are out in PP next week. My son will be delighted that Tiberi is open. He loves their carbonara - he is only 3!

Talking Dakota (square) & Bonys!

Bony's...

And yesterday I spoke to Jose from Bonys in the square and he said that bonys should open its doors once again on Monday 17th March.

Over and out!

L'Aup has new owners?

Hmmm...one of my favourite restaurants. It's always been a wonderful place to eat and we normally go there on our first night. I'd love to hear reviews under the new owners.

Is the great head waiter still there?

Jane
