Sorry Sandy, i have walked passed twice today and was so busy looking inside to see how things were progressing that i didn't look at the sign outside. If i don't have too many vino collapsos tonight i will check it out.

When I went past today I was interested to see it had changed, and yes like you all said, definately Chinese! Quite funny actually, a van pulled up and loads of Chinese waiters came out and started unloading bottles and bottles of sweet and sour sauce!

But as for the name I too tried understanding it, and came to the conclusion that it read " Restaurante Asiatico " so in English simply an "Asian Restaurant"

Kind Regards

Sea Captain

I may be wrong, but i don't think the names being changed for the sake of it, something to do with Chinese culture? full moon, good luck and all that jazz.

Thumbs up Serenity coast restaurante asiatico.

Ok i had a chat with the boss lady and she says it is still called Serenity Coast but they have added Restaurante Asiatico because they are now also serving Japonese, Vietnamese and Thai dishes.
We ate there last night and it was as good as ever, just one complaint, we had a beef dish but could not eat it as it was very salty. It was taken away and the waitress came back full of apologies and explained that there was a problem with the chilli sauce so would we like to have something else, we said no thank you. Obviously we were not charged for it and had coffees and brandies on the house plus a set of metal chopsticks and a bottle of rice wine (i call it firewater) .
We shared a mixed starter and had 4 dishes, washed down with a bottle of ice cold rosado, the things i do to research for you guys .As always there was too much so a doggy bag was called for, thats today's lunch taken care of.
So another nights hard work for the good of this forum came to an end and we headed home .
