Smile Ca'n Josep

Hello all and wishing everyone a truly great summer in PP. At this time it looks unlikely that Jac and I will get there this year due to a number of factors.

My son has just returned from a rainy week however and left me jealous and drooling for more.

According to him (Simon), things haven't changed too much and Joker is by far and away the best value for money given the location, price and standard. G and G is an up and coming place well worth a vist while Ca'n Josep is quite possibly the best restaurant in PP.
Jose was apparently at a family function so Simon did not get to see him but the food is still magnificent (he had steak) and the house red (local) is excellent and great value. To ice the cake, apparently Mariano Miranda will be playing there on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 15/05. We have several Mariano CD's and will play them regularly through the summer and think of you all enjoying the food and the playing!

Salud!
Steve

Steve,

Yes, Josep was giving away his sister , Laura ( remember her , she worked at the Joker during her college breaks ) at her wedding that day.

" Best " is highly subjective but it has been a great addition to the restaurant scene here in that it offers quality at good value. What is priceless though is the welcoming service , nothing too much trouble and a good addition in " Mr Fantastico " to help Josep.

We love Mr Fantasic!!!!! In fact, it became our holiday catch phrase, but you must say it with the same accent. He is FANT-ASSSS-TICK.

Right, volunteer required for this VERY important task. Who will go and hang around to hear if it is FAN TASS TICK or FANTASTICO!

Many moons ago when Miguel worked at La Goleta, it was definately Fantastico, but now think he has shortened it to Fantastic.
