Default Ca'n Currasa - A delightful lunch

It was our first outing to this restaurant on the Pto Pollenca to Alcudia road but it won't be out last. The restaurant was very quiet when we arrived at 12.30 (to try and accomodate our 3.5year old twins!) and we were asked where we would like to sit. We chose outside on the terrace at the back so we could watch our children play on the slide, swings and play house that they have out there. This alone was fantastic and my wife and I managed to enjoy a couple of glases of chilled rose wine whilst the kids played. We shared some yummy tempura prawns to start whilst the kids played. There meal, chicken escolope and chips arrived shortly afterwards and was hungraly devoured by the kids whilst I enjoyed chicken in a light curry sauce with rice and veg and my wife had a lovely looking salad. The service was prompt and pleasent but not overbearing. Not the cheapest of places to enjoy a lunch but certainly one of the most enjoyable for the kids and one that serves excellent food and perfectly chilled wine. A must for those with children and a modest budget.

I love this restaurant! There are so many different areas to sit, depending on the time of day or even the season. Their website is great, and I'm trying to convince my daughter that it would be great for a wedding. Perhaps I should talk to her boyfriend too?!
